Norwegian Google expert Computas opens office in Malmö
During the Google Cloud Summit in Stockholm, Computas, one of the largest Google Cloud partners in the Nordics, revealed that they are now opening an office in Sweden. The IT company has offices in Norway, Denmark and Romania and are already serving customers in the Malmö region.
Computas is an employee-owned IT company with headquarters in Oslo. The company provides consultancy and IT development to a number of customers in both the public and private sectors. They are both Google Cloud Premier Partner, Atlassian Platinum Partner and Microsoft Gold Partner. Now they will bring their expertise to Sweden.
Computas has worked with Google in Norway since 2016. Trond Eilertsen, CEO of Computas points out the importance of this partnership when establishing themselves in new markets.
– As a Google Cloud Premier Partner for almost a decade, we have valuable expertise that many companies are looking for. We now want to let more Swedish companies benefit from this expertise, says Trond Eilertsen, CEO of Computas, and adds:
– Our interdisciplinary teams consist of experts in AI, cloud computing, security and application development. This means that we can assist businesses in preparing for current and future needs in a rapidly changing digital landscape, which is crucial for competitiveness and efficiency.
Established customer relations
Nikolaj Elniff Larsen is Regional Director at Computas’ new Malmö office. He has been part of Computas’ office in Denmark for nearly 2 years, but lives in Malmö. He has managed the company’s customers in the region, among others a large Swedish enterprise. By opening an office in Malmö, the company aims for a closer relationship with existing customers and further growth.
– With a clearer presence in Sweden, together with Google, we will offer our expertise and experience on their platform, which is increasingly in demand. We already have customers in the Malmö region, so it was very natural to put our office there when we are now going to enter the Swedish market more actively, says Elniff Larsen.
He also highlights the ambition to take advantage of the city’s broad technology environment and collaborate with local businesses.
– Computas has for years helped Norwegian businesses with technology and innovation. We now look forward to working with organisations and businesses in Malmö and helping them achieve their digital ambitions, he concludes.
The company is present at the Google Cloud Summit in Stockholm, Google’s first major Nordic conference after the pandemic.
