The NRK telethon

The NRK telethon is the world’s largest fundraising campaign, measured by the number of volunteers and the amount of money collected per capita. Around 100,000 volunteers go door-to-door on Campaign Sunday, held in late October each year.

Computas has been a regular contributor and partner of the telethon since 2018. Through pro bono consultancy services and financial donations, Computas has been able to support organizations such as the WWF, Doctors Without Borders, Save the Children and Childhood Cancer Society through the telethon.

TEK Norway

Computas has been an active member of TEK Norway (formerly ICT-Norway) for several years, an independent member organization for companies within the digital tech sector. Together with TEK Norway and its other members, we work with political and administrative authorities to promote responsible and effective digitalization of Norwegian businesses and the public sector.

GoForIT

GoForIT is a collaborative project involving experts from academia, research, the IT industry, and industry organizations, developing Norway’s most important platform for knowledge development at the intersection of digitalization and sustainability.

The unique collaborative initiative connects technology, sustainability, and competence development to ensure Norway’s competitiveness in a digital and green future.

GoForIt aims to achieve this by strengthening the interaction between academia, business and the public sector. This will help ensure that the workforce has the needed skills the research environments stay at the forefront of development.
