Jira introductory course

For basic / new users
Duration: 1/2 day

The course is for new users who need to learn how to perform common tasks in Jira. Maybe you are new to a team that uses the tool or Jira is being introduced as a project collaboration tool that the whole team needs to be able to use effectively? The course gives a thorough introduction to how Jira works and what functionality is available. . With this insight, as well as tips for good practice, you will be off to a good start in your work management with Jira.

You will know how to create and find work items and how to interact with your colleagues to move work forward. The course is highly interactive and provides exercises where you learn exactly how to perform core tasks.

Establish general knowledge and use of Kanban and Scrum boards with filtering and sorting

For experienced Jira users who need knowledge of more advanced configuration options

Jira for advanced users is for seasoned users of Jira who need to learn more about how projects can be managed and tailored to the needs of the team. The course is a comprehensive walkthrough of relevant functionality in Jira and how it can be utilized to get the best possible overview at various levels. With insight into how new projects are created and configured, as well as tips for good practice, you will have the necessary knowledge to customize your Jira projects to match the needs of your team.

You will know how to utilize advanced Jira functionality tailored to your project or team’s needs.
