But tracking how much each cow actually lies down in a day is both time-consuming and complex for farmers—especially when the average Danish dairy herd numbers over 300 freely moving cows.

SpareBank 1 SMN saw an opportunity to enhance both efficiency and job satisfaction among its employees by leveraging artificial intelligence. But how can a bank with 1,700 employees provide access to information through AI assistants without losing control or violating regulations? The solution: custom copilots, which have significantly improved employees’ workdays.

Altek AI is a promising startup behind chatbot solutions used at some of Norway’s most exclusive hotels and resorts, such as The Thief and Britannia. With ambitious growth plans, they needed a secure and scalable AI infrastructure. For this, they sought the help of Computas.

Computas has developed a solution for the UDI that establishes identity based on biometric data. Biometric data can include facial images, fingerprints, or signatures. By registering and searching biometric data, a person’s true identity can be verified with a higher degree of certainty.

Elvia supplies electricity to 2 million people. This requires 65,000 km of cable and 440,000 poles. The poles are subject to wear and tear, so to prevent power outages, they are regularly inspected by helicopters that take pictures and map damage. Computas was tasked with creating an image platform where the images are automatically analyzed to detect faults in the power grid.

The Danish consultancy and engineering company Rambøll is in the process of transitioning to a multi cloud strategy and has asked Computas to assist in the process. The expectation is to ensure better data management – and create a foundation for making more use of data and artificial intelligence in the future.

When Fortum Oslo Varme AS was established in 2017, with Oslo Municipality and Fortum each owning 50 percent, the new company took over the applications and systems for operating Norway’s largest district heating business from Hafslund. A new IT strategy was implemented, and together with Computas, Fortum Oslo Varme gained increased control and significant process improvements in a short time.

Pensions can be a complex topic for many people. Storebrand wanted to help its corporate clients demonstrate the value of pension savings to their employees. With the assistance of Computas, Storebrand developed the ‘My Pension’ app. This app increases understanding that pensions are personal savings that can be managed and watched grow month by month. Users now have a closer relationship with their own savings, with 30% using the app at least once a month.

Our recommendation engine for POWER has given customers more precise product recommendations. By using machine learning, the recommendation engine has enabled POWER to cut significant costs, which has been important in a highly marginalized industry.

Through its work, the Brønnøysund Registry simplifies daily operations for public agencies and Norwegian businesses.
